Accessibility Statement

Accessibility objectives

sermocore Software & Consulting GmbH strives to make its website www.sermocore.com accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Our goal is to make our digital information and services accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability, and to continuously remove existing barriers.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is largely compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA and the applicable legal standards. Compliance is verified through regular self-assessments and ensured through ongoing improvements.

Non-accessible content

Despite our efforts to ensure the accessibility of the website, there are some areas where we are still working on improvements. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible for the following reasons based on an analysis of the website:

  • Security mechanisms (reCAPTCHA): Our contact form uses Google's “reCAPTCHA” service to prevent spam. This technology can be a barrier for users with certain limitations, especially when using assistive technologies such as screen readers, and can make it difficult or impossible to use the form.
  • Complex graphics and animations: The website uses animated graphics in some cases to visualize complex technical processes, such as data flows. Although we strive to provide meaningful alternative text, this visual information may not be fully accessible to people with visual impairments.
  • Videos: Videos embedded on the website may not always have high-quality subtitles or audio descriptions. We plan to make new video content more accessible by default.
  • Third-party content: The integration of third-party services (such as Google reCAPTCHA) may result in their content not being fully accessible. We have limited influence on the accessibility of these external components.

Creation of this accessibility statement

This statement was created on June 16, 2025.

The assessment of the website's compliance with legal requirements was based on a self-assessment and analysis of the website carried out by us.
