Data protection declaration

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). With this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

1.     Contact with us
If you contact us via chat, contact form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry as well as in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

2.     Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
Cookies are an essential part of the technology of the browser you are using and help to improve your use of websites. Many cookies are necessary for the correct display of the website and also have a self-deletion date, so they are only stored for the duration of your visit (session cookies).
You can block individual or all cookies. However, this may mean that certain functions on websites can no longer be used.
We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

3.     Web-analysis
3a.   Web analysis with Google Analytics
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.
The service is used to analyse the use of our website by visitors. It helps us to make our offer even more user-friendly and we can recognise, among other things, which pages are important for the user and which are less important. For this purpose, Google uses page views to record user data relating to the technical characteristics and activities of visitors to our website. This user data is analysed by the software in order to create reports that may include statements on the length of stay, approximate geographical origin, origin of visitor traffic, exit pages and usage processes. Further information on the handling of user data by Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html?hl=de
You can prevent the collection and transmission of this data to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. The web analysis service Google Analytics stores the IP address for a period of 9 months and the search query data for a period of 18 months.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website, as well as IT security. As the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

3b. Privacy policy for the use of Hotjar
We use the Hotjar software (http://www.hotjar.com, 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta, Europe) to improve the user experience on our website. Hotjar enables us to measure and evaluate user behaviour (mouse movements, clicks, scroll height, etc.) on our website. For this purpose, Hotjar places cookies on users' end devices and can store user data such as browser information, operating system, time spent on the page, etc. You can find out more about data processing by Hotjar at www.hotjar.com/privacy.

3c. Data collection through the use of live chat
This website uses Drift, a live chat software from Drift, Inc (https://www.drift.com). Among other things, Drift uses "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable a personal conversation with you in the form of a real-time chat on the website. Your data transmitted in the live chat is stored on Drift, Inc. servers in the USA. By using the live chat, you consent to this transfer. The privacy policy of Drift, Inc. can be found here: https://www.drift.com/privacy-policy/

4.    Integration of third-party services and content
It may happen that third-party content, such as YouTube videos, map material from Google Maps or graphics from other websites, is integrated into our website. The IP address is usually required to display this content. We endeavour to ensure that our partners' content is used in compliance with data protection regulations, but we have no influence over this. Insofar as we are aware of this, we inform users about it. You can read about Google's privacy policy here: https://www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

5.    Use of YouTube
We use the provider YouTube (LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to embed videos. Like most websites, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these to collect video statistics, prevent fraud and improve user-friendliness, among other things. This leads to a connection being established with the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video, this could trigger further data processing operations. We have no influence on this. You can find more information about data protection at YouTube in their privacy policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube.

6.     Information, deletion, blocking
You have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. Please inform us of this in writing. Please note that, as a proper data processor, it is our duty to verify your identity. Please send us the necessary documents. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.

7.     Your rights
In principle, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

8.     Objection to advertising emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
